| Medusa stretched and growled jumping to her feet as she was woken. she apologized quickly with a flick of her ears and sat down quickly cringing from trhe scolding she was about to receive. Medusa mumbled and hoped it wasn't as bad as what she had received from her father. She opened one eye cautiously watching, waiting for it to happen. | |

| Smirked lightly as the bitch looked at the young one, smiling lightly she curled her tail upright and barked playfuly at the young one before speedily laying her torso to the ground and her tail in the air wagging it like a tornado. Kay hadn't rly dealt with a young one before but this pup she seemed to favor, having never had pups before it was a shocker to see how well the pup had grown attatched to her.
Kay sat in this position for a while and would wait for the young one to respond to her attempt at playing.

| Bandit was still around, he had gone off to hunt quietly. He had gotten a bit distracted by various things mostly his thoughts. He returned to the camp site as everyone was waking up. He smiled at Tryst and Kay nudging them both with his nose warmly. He noted the pup and gave her a warm welcoming smile. It seemed to him that they had formed their own pack some how... And he kind of liked it. | |

| As Bandit nudged her, a smile flitted across her face and she looked down, letting the grin stay for a fraction of a moment before it left. She looked around.
"I'm a bit hungry. Anyone fancy a hunt?" She asked, looking wistfully into her warm, crackling fire. She'd have to leave it behind, but she was hungry enough that it didn't bother her. Besides, she was almost warm anyway. And it would be much better if she had a little company. She eyed Bandit. he was the biggest, so he'd be warmer. Bu he'd probably been doing that while he was gone. She hoped he might offer, anyway. She could probe him about Kay that way.

| Bandit was no longer hungry as he had just spent the longest while hunting but he felt slightly lonely, Kay was busy with the new pup and Bandit wanted to talk with Tryst. "I'll go. I know where all the juicy animals are." He winked and trotted back to Tryst's side. | |

| Tryst let her fur brush against his, a shiver racing down her spine.
"Thats good, then. I'm not much use in cold weather." She admitted with a grin. Her stomach gave an awkward, hollow noise and she turned fully to Bandit. "Lead the way.

| Bandit saw her shiver, it was nearly a violent one. Bandit nosed towards the left. He had found a few herds of elk and large mammals. "This-A-Way." He moved quickly in the that direction. | |

| Medusa growled playfully back, relieved that she was let off the hook. She froze and looked behind her as the alpha male of the group came back. Sitting and waiting she watched him nuzzle to two she-wolves. He left quickly with the other female. Medusa tilted her head and felt her old hatred raise itself from its dormant state. The other two wolves took no notice of Medusa, just like her pack had. She curled her lip slightly and turned back to the other she-wolf who was still inviting her to a game. Medusa barked and lounged tugging at the she-wolf's ear playfully. | |

| Kay smiled lightly and then glared off into the direction of where the two had wandered off in and would huff deeply lifting to her feet she would nudge at the young whelp and walk off in the opposite direction, her tail lowered from its normal high stance.
Looking towards the ground she would try and find a new place for the youngster and herself to stay, a new sort of hurt filled her body. Still ignoring the injury she had from the bear trap, Kay pushed on with or without a male she would not let the pain show..

| Medusa let go of the she-wolf's ear and cocked her head as she left the clearing motioning for Medusa to follow. She bounded after the she-wolf sniffing anything she encountered. Medusa felt more like a cub, pouncing at anything that moved. She noticed that the she-wolf was limping. Medusa whined slightly and asked, "What happened to your paw?" Sympathy clouded her face, she walked ahead hoping that she could find something to help. | |

| Kay payed no attention to her paw most of the time "Nothing little one, its fine." Kaylyn would look off into the now spring covered meadow, true they would become more voulnerable in the open meadow but it was the only way the two could possibly go to find a quiet and safer place...
Kay looked back at Medusa and smiled as she swayed her tail walking with a limp, her wounds became infected and were very painful. Eventually her leg had given way and she had fallen. "Medusa... young one can you go and find the others?"

| Tryst had set out loping behind Bandit as he led the way. But eventually, slowly, she pulled up alongside him, her long, fox like tail swinging. Ever so often it would just touch his legs as the fired back, and shed whip it away quickly and look down.
She went along in silence for a time, stillness punctuated by the gentle cruch of snow beneath their paws and the quick huffing of their breath.
"So what's on the menu today?" She asked quietly, allowingher head to turn towards him and her eyes to linger on his face.

| Bandit ran thought the woods oblivious of all that was not food. he heard Tryst's voice and stopped. His mind went blank. He had nearly forgotten that she was with him "Oh, Uh, I was looking for a deer or large bird..." He hesitated in his running and eventually slowed to a walk next to the female. He breathed deeply. He caught her scent and the scent of the other wolves but nothing new. | |

| Medusa whined and fell back, walking beside the she-wolf. She looked down at her paws, what was happening to her? Only a few days ago had she been a ruthless, angry pup. Anger and Hatred had been her personality highlights, it was something about the she-wolf. The way she had accepted Medusa without much thought, caring about her as if she was her pup. It made Medusa feel like she belonged, made her feel part of a pack again. She looked up and smiled back wagging her tail furiously as the she-wolf looked at her. It was a few more minutes before she fell, her injured leg no longer willing to support her. Medusa stepped back and hung her head and listened to the she-wolf's request. Not wanting to disappoint her, Medusa quickly promised she would be back before running the way they had come. She lowered her head slightly and flickered her ears forward catching the faint sound of scrunching snow. Medusa stopped dead at the clearing and started stepping around taking in the scents of the other two wolves. She froze and turned west, the scent of both wolves wound through the trees. She barked and raced forth making the earth help her. Medusa barked louder as the two wolves scent grew stronger, she had never tracked a wolf before, it made her feel uncomfortable, a monster. She stopped dead as she saw them, not two paces in front, walking side by side trying to catch the scent of prey. Medusa barked and waggled her hind quarters waiting for them to turn. | |

| Kaylyn would wait as she couldn't possibly get up in the condition her paw was in, swollen and painful she would lay there motionless. She didn't whimper but simply lay there in much pain... "I do hope she returns soon..."
Kay layed her head down lightly and tried to remain awake...
