| Bandit extinguished the fire with his feet and burst off for the woods. It was a clear shot, through open ground. Bandit made it with no trouble and he turned to wait for Kay and Tryst. Once they joined him he woofed the simple message. We are safe for now. Do not howl. | |

| Kay stopped running for now and layed down near a small opening in the earth, tierd and in pain she would look around as she let out a low and impulsing growl. Looking back at bandit she would huff as she then turned to Tryst. Weiry and untrusting of females enough she had set her sights on something precious and wanted to keep it. However letting a human or animal perish was not in her idea of a perfect life. Thinking lightly she would pace as the others still around her probably worried, she herself was calm as always when it came to a situation like this. Growing tierd of the wait she would walk towards where they had just run from. Kay feared the two legs yes but was not afraid to go and challange one seeing as how her fighting dog instincts were kicking in. She turned to look at the others for a moment and grined deviously. Sprining her tail back up as her posture went into a completely dominant sense. | |

| This was insane. Beyond a doubt, beyond any doubt. Tryst was absolutely positive that this was insane. She ran after Bandit and Kay, the last to arrive in her unsure hesitance. Nothing made sense so she stopped trying to make it make sense. She knew they were hiding from some elusive presence bent on killing them. She also knew she could leave, let the game go unfinished. Was this round worth it? She cast a sideways longing glance at Bandit. Yes, he was worth it.
But here was Kay all set up to go and fight them. Her stance was almost alpha-like, and Tryst had a bit of a problem with authority.
"Youre insane. First you curl up in a ball and whimper and then we all run like mad and now we're supposed to fight them?" she yelled in confusion. Her eyes danced with some unknown flame of wildness as she got to her feet, dancing in place it seemed.
" This doesn't make any sense. Are they something we can fight and win against or are we doomed if we confront them?

| Kay snarled lightly as she was losing her patience quickly. I did not ask you to fight them! I didn't ask either of you two to fight with me at all... spoken irritantly. Bitch would turn back to the way they came and would sit there watching as to make sure nothing was going to happen. Being the caring person she was she would guard either with her life, being taught and brought up this way it make sense that she only do her job so to speak. | |

| Tryst looked at Kay, her face somewhere between blank & quizzical.
"Did you really expect us to let you go in alone?" She asked in a voice fringed in pain. She pulled away a little, wrinkling her brow and laying her ears back slightly.

| Kay noticed the expressions made by the fem more than anything her posture grew huntched as she eyed the bitch vigorously. Confused as to why she cared, most likely one thing was in mind but words spoken lead to fights so why should I say a thing? Kay thought to herself. Actually I did... I'm not used to others caring so much for what I do... After all I am a fighting dog... And in the arena no one cares what you do... Kay thought again and again whether she should run off and fight back or stay here and guard the others... So many choices that she could choose but neither made sense to her... | |

| Stretching, the white-and-black she-wolf stood up and poked her head out of her snow hole. This was Shade, the shadow wolf as some would call her. This...calling was started when loners and packs would observe her behavior- sticking to the shadows, swiftly dashing in and out of the light, as if it'd burn her. Which, in her mind, it would. When she was a puppy, her mother had ALWAYS whispered words such as 'Light is enemy, dark is friend..' in her sleep. Now, Shade had never known WHY this was, but being a puppy, she took it as a lesson. Something any NORMAL wolf did. Yet, she grew up around wolves who didn't do that- those wolves would stay in the light, unless it was a hot day, in which case they finally would stick to the shadows. Heck, even her own sister had become a light walker, as she called them. Perhaps that was why she ended up here, in the eternally snowy forest. Forever an outcast..
Shade climbed out of her snow hole, studying her surroundings, but all was quiet and still. "It was pointless to come here. If those idiots didn't like me, and how I always acted, then that was their problem. Now I'm in the middle of no where and starting to starve..." she muttered, voice shuddering. She wasn't used to the cold- sure, she was a wolf, but where she came from the cold was only for a few months and wasn't as intense as this. And, her body was not made for jumping through deep snowbanks, so she couldn't outrun the smallest of snowshoe hares- thus, she was starving, and she knew she couldn't live like this forever. However, perhaps she'd have to learn how to control her Earth powers a bit better, then she could find something to eat, by manipulating the trees and land. Yet, that seemed wrong, so wrong.. But that was the circle of life, her life, she decided. She laid down in the snow and awaited nightfall, wrapping her tail around her nose.

| Kay lifted her ears as she lifted her nose to the wind as it blew. Catching a slight wiff of something different a scent other than the humans she would wander off for a moment and try to find this new creature sensed. Her tail held high as she stuck her nose to the ground trying to sniff out the source of this new scent. Not knowing where this would lead her she tried searched and searched. | |

| Keeping one eye open, Shade watched the wilderness, her new home for the time being. How life can change.. she thought solemnly. Then, a new scent begun to reach her, and her fur raised in response- it was a stranger wolf, coming towards her quick, though it wasn't that close. Perhaps she could blend in..no. The black and teal-green in her fur would stand out easily in the pure white landscape. So, instead, she would just hide. Diving into her snow hole in a rush, she looked out through the entrance, waiting, afraid that the wolf approaching her would possibly be a pack wolf, or a super tough male. She wasn't interested in mating, not at all. She loved her independence and wouldn't give that up to have some stupid pups. If it was a male...she'd just have to attempt to fight him off. | |

| After Kay’s little ‘no one has ever loved meeee’ speech (Tryst did not let her amusement at this fact show) she trotted off. Tryst sniffed, and there it was, another wolf’s scent. Shooting Bandit an inquiring glance, she watched the brown female disappear into the woods.
“Should we follow her?” She asked quietly. She sat, curling her tail around herself slowly. She was not used to the cold. Mostly she traveled in the south. It was much warmer there, with short, mild winters. But here… She shivered.

| The bitch would keep her muzzle prompt to the ground as she slowly came upon the new scent that she was following. Sniffing the small what looked to be a hole in the ground she would try and dig it up, not knowing what was inside the small hole. Curiousity had gotten the best of her. Kay would be persistant even if it was something dangerous she continued to dig and not stop. Snarling out of anger she would most likely eat anything that had come out of this hole.

| Bandit had gone off in search of sticks for a fire so they could settle down for the night. He had had a long day and was ready for some easy conversation. Sticks in mouth Bandit hurried back to make the fire. He stopped short when he heard the two bitches arguing he dropped the sticks to the ground. As he stepped over them he huffed and a fire flickered up. We have to FIGHT them? We aren't allowed to just run away... We have what, a week more until winter and hunting season is over? Sure They'll still be here, but not for us. For the rabbits. I'm just wondering, is it actually necessary? He took the place where he felt most natural, sitting on the ground with a high n' mighty feel to his posture. | |

| Shade jumped, hearing paws crunch snow, then held back a small whimper when snow begun to be pulled back from the entrance. Retreating back a bit farther into the small snow hole, she considered her options carefully. Present herself to this wolf, which sounded and smelled more like a female than a male, and risk getting attacked? Or, perhaps, act like a coward and whimper? The choice was obvious for a she-wolf like Shade. She shook herself, preparing for a fight of some sort, and burst out of the hole, facing the new creature. It was definitely a female wolf. It didn't smell like a pack wolf, yet..the stance it held itself in was very dominate, very alpha wolf-esque. But, again, she didn't see or hear or smell any other wolves accompanying this one. Growling, tail lashing from side to side, she squinted her eyes. "What do you want?" she asked bluntly, getting right to the point. Her idea of a formal introduction was not the usual- ask blunt questions first, then perhaps be polite. Perhaps. | |

| “That’s what I said…” Tryst muttered in a good-humored voice, slight smile playing along the edges of her lips. She inhaled again. The other wolf was still around. Not too close… But also not very far away. She cast another unsure glance at Bandit.
“I’m going to follow her.” She sighed at last, standing and trotting lightly to follow Kay. She flicked her tail in a curious way and kept on until she found her, snarling and digging at a hole where something evidently hid.
“Did it attack you?” She asked softly, trying to understand Kay’s apparently violent intentions. But then a multicolored wolfess burst from the snow, and very frankly got to the point. Tryst half hid her smile. And she genuinely hoped that Kay wouldn’t go ape on a wolf with such courage.

| Kay stepped back a little bit and before actually being able to answer yet another shot fired off in the distance. This time it had sounded closer... I mean you no harm. I am just out trying to help any others that are possibly close enough to be harmed... And if you haven't noticed the normal season is going on so it'd be best if a wolf such as yourself stay with others... would it not?Bitch would then look at the other whom had followed her, lifting her head lightly she had smelt something unsual. Not any other wolf or forest creature but the smell of what seemed to be a strong odorizor. Kay would let out a deep snarl and back away from the scented direction slowly. Ok well... as I hate to rush you or make you do anything.... But you might want to come with us!

| Bandit's smile, however small it was, vanished as he watched both females leave to wander to what seemed like a hole. Hearing Kay's voice he gathered that there was another wolf inside it. Having tired paws and enough caring in one day Bandit lays down and curled up. He was just going to make some small talk but no. They just had to leave. Ah well, he thought, more nap time for me. He stared at the tallest mountain. He couldn't find the sun yet there was still sunlight. | |

| Giving up on persuading she would run back to where Bandit was. Kay would look around worridly as she would then go and sit next to where Bandit was laying. This place isn't very safe for any creature at this point... Kay didn't really know what else to say... She had met humans before but none such as these hunters... Sighing and laying her head curling up trying to keep warm now she would cuddle up close to Bandit inhopes of being able to keep herself warm. Not sure what else she should do she just lay there staring at the fire... Confused but in tact. | |

| Bandit heard paws int he snow growing closer. He was too relaxed to look up however. When he felt Kay's fur touching his he shivered involuntarily. How he knew it was Kay's fur was just something about the way it felt... that and he had caught her scent. Not for another week. He turned slightly and welcomed Kay is she wanted to move closer. The wind blew the fire int he opposite direction leaving Bandit very cold. | |

| Kay would notice the shiver and would smirk lightly. Feeling rather safe and warmer as she would remain close to him. Curling her bushy tail around to her face she huddled up into a ball, beginning to think that this was the best place the few could be. Shaking lightly she would close her eyes and try to think that everything was perfectly fine... But was it? | |

| Shade tilted her head as another wolf came up behind the brown one. This one was a female as well, and obviously knew the brown one. The brown wolf's words hit her hard. She hated sticking with others, but..that sound, that loud crack, sounded a lot like a gun, something she had experienced many times. Perhaps she could use these wolves to her advantage. Food, shelter, distraction in case of danger. Barely holding back an evil grin, she nodded reluctantly, padding towards the two wolves, but staying a good distance away as well. "Fine, I'll stick with you, but don't expect me to play nice." said the she-wolf defiantly, following the brown wolf. | |

| Bandit felt Kay snuggle in closer but then heard a few new paw steps. Glancing up he saw YET another female. Oy, He thought, Another one? He nudged Kay with this paw. Company. This new bitch seemed different, like she wasn't competing for him. Thank god, he thought. | |

| Kay looked up and nodded lightly For the moment I suppose... As long as she doesn't try and pull anything she might regret... Spoken harshly by the bitch but meant down to the breath she used to speak. Unsure of the new female she herself would seem curious of how the new bitch would act. Rolling over and placing her head on Bandits back she would get comfortable enough to close her eyes back and rest for a while. | |

| Smirked lightly and curled her tail under her as she would lay comfortably next to Bandit. Breath slowed down as she would then fall asleep... more so a lightly slumber to make sure she kept herself alert for what was to happen next. ((Bleh your not the only one. I'm getting yelled at so idk how much longer I'll be on :/)) | |
