| Kay blinks and shakes her head at both as she wanders off into the snowy wastelands to clear her head from everything that has happened today. I'll be back in a few I suppose. Babe would gracefully leap throughout the snow and onto the rocks which lead up to a small ravine where her native tribe once called home. Bitch looked back from the rocks and pinned her ears against her head. You can both tag along if you'd like!! Kay hollard out at the two playful canines, she wasn't sure if she belonged with the wild wolves or back in some humans home.... Time would tell her so if she was or not. | |

| Bandit looked longingly at the fire. he lept out of the frozen water and onto the shore. Just as he got settled in the snow by the fire Kay called to them. Torn between the warmth of the fire and Kay he reluctantly rose and followed her, looking back to see if Tryst would follow. His exuberant steps left large paw holes in the fresh snow. ((Interrupted by following post, not a problem)) He paused halfway between them. He Halted completely. Kay! Come and stay a while. i have a fire... he turned and skittered towards Tryst.

| Tryst laughed as his current brought her under. The water was cold, a thousand icy needles against her, but she loved the shock of awareness that came with it. Her senses were heightened by this frigid water and she felt like trembling with energy.
She broke the surface, laughing and splashing. Kay was leaving, and so slowly, she calmed herself. Would Bandit follow her, or would the two stay and play amongst these icy waves?
She turned, swimming about and searching for the male’s shape, above or below the water. There he was, following after her. Tryst's face fell, just a littl. But she clambered out of the water, shaking it from her coat. Oh, she was cold! She took a few steps towards the fire, and sat down by it. She looked at it a moment, and grew it larger, warming her more thoroughly. She tipped her head back and basked in the warmth, letting it bake her neck and chest, eyes closed in ecstasy.
“I’ll follow soon enough” She called softly after them.
But he turned back. She didn't smile, barely noticed, just lowered her head nad turned to gaze at them, her green eyes full of question.
"It's probably dangerous to walk out there i the cold when you're all wet anyway." Tryst reasoned softly, half to herself.

| Kays' tail curled high she set her muzzle high as she laid eyes upon what had seemed like smoke... I see smoke... Kay said under her breath. Not sure what to make of it or whether it was even what she thought it out to be. The bitch moved slightly steping with caution as she knew what smoke most likely meant. Be careful... I don't know whats been through here since I last came through... Steping faintly across the frozen stream she had noticed a rather faint cracking sound and would look down at the ice. Pinning her ears to her head and her tail between her legs she would step as cautiously as possible. For to her the stream was not blue... but a sort of blackish shade... She would look back at Bandit and nod lightly but turning back to the way she was going and would whimper lightly, in her sight was the worst possible thing... Kay turned and ran back across the river and hopped down back into the valley and ran until she tripped and landed right into the stream they had been playing in before. Yelping she would start to shake lightly at what she had seen...

| Bandit lumbered back to the fire's warmth. Kay seemed content going alone. We'll Be waiting for you. He howled across the valley. He turned to Tryst. Her head was tilted upwards. Bandit cocked his head looking at her strangely. He lept across the fire, unsinged by the flames and took a place next to Tryst. It was apparent of him element. Motioning to the fire he huffed What's yours? He shivered involuntarily, feeling their fur brush together widened his senses and caused another round of shivers. He stepped closer to the fire placing his paws, one by one, into the flames. Seeing Kay rush back sent yet another shiver down his spine. KAY! | |

| "The same." She sighed softly, flaring the fire larger. But as she did, his voice exploded from him, shouting her name. She resisted reverting to what she normally would have done, opening one eye and looking confused. She immediately opened both eyes, stood, and looked.
“What’s wrong?” She asked quietly, her voice edged with fear. Kay seemed transfixed by the stream. “Is she okay?”

| Kay would lay motionless in stream for the moment she had been scared witless. Looking around she curled up into a ball and started to shiver and shake uncontrollably. Her pupils almost completely lost she lay motionless as her fur started to dry hard against her small body. They.... They're.... Those monsters.... Kay couldn't even finish her sentence before a shot was fired off into the distance. Perking her ears to the top of her head she scrambled out of the water and beside the fire, looking back at the two she would whimper and whine loudly. | |

| Bandit rose from Tryst's side and trotted to Kay. Are you alright? Did they hurt you? Either he had never had the opportunity to care for someone like this or he never needed to... Much less wanted to. He stood protectively near her swishing his tail. He turned back to Tryst and nodded for her to come closer. Bandit sat. Tell us what happened. | |

| Kay looked up at him and clung to him as she kept her ears slammed against her head she was still a little shaky from the sight of the Two Legs, these were different than before. The Two legs she has just seen were carring guns and traps. We have to get out of here now Bandit! The things you call two legs are humans and they are doing what they like to do when it comes to winter seasons... Hunt... They hunt wolves!! You guys need to go now! Kay had never shown so much care fot others before but she wasn't about to let anything happen to them, bitch would lightly stand to her feet and whimper at her foot. The trip she had landed had hurt her paw... thinking nothing of it she continued to look at the other two and look off into the distance. Curling her tail back up and perking her ears she would look at Bandit and Tryst before barking Tryst you have to find a way to hide yourselves! Honestly this is not a good time to stay put and defend the area... Kay stamped her foot against the ground as she would push them into moving into a different location. Follow me I know a safer place... Or at least one the humans never found... | |

| He went to her, close to her, as she trembled. Tryst couldn’t believe how random this was. Most of the time, she’d already made a significant impression on her target. Of course, she hadn’t missed his shivers by the fire.
He motioned her over and she came swiftly, sitting by him. Their shoulders touched. She looked at him a moment, then looked down and moved away a little.
“You’re safe here.” She whispered. Without looking at Bandit, she continued. “She needs to get near a fire or she’ll freeze, in the state she’s in. Should we move her or just start a new one?”
But Kay went nuts. Humans? Two-legs? What the heck was she talking about? Tryst shuffled back, her face full of confusion.
“I don’t understand. What are you talking about?” She asked, her ears pinned back, one forepaw in the air.

| Bandit hesitantly followed but soon found his leading the way. I don't know where i'm going. Kay, move faster. He occasionally spurt fire into the icy wind blasts to keep the cold at bay. ((Sorry it's way too short... i couldn't think of anything else.)) | |

| Kay broke into a speed indistant run a lot faster than most canines she had forgotten the nickname given to her in the fighting dog battles. Her feet now beating against the snow as she ran from the sound of gun firing she would call out to the others Its not far just keep up with me! An make sure to keep your feet on the ground. Leaping over most of the rocks was the easiest part for her. Being the way she was, Kay had been trained to leave the weak and defenseless behind but her heart told her otherwise so she stopped and waited for both to catch up to her. | |

| It would take more than an adrenaline rushed sprint to make Bandit loose his breath. He stayed relatively near to Kay whilst they ran. He found himself looking behind him every so often for Tryst. He was now torn. Running helped him think. He thought as he ran... I am a lone male. key part being LONE. I'm a male. MALE! I should have at least 5 litters by my age! and what do i have? Two equally wonderful Females right here, right under my snout! what in Mother Natures name am i going to do!Snapping out of his internal monologue he slowed himself a bit to keep in time with Tryst. Sorry to ruin your fire warmth he joked. | |

| “What’s happening?![/i]” Tryst cried, trotting after the disappearing wolves. “Where are we going? What are we running from?” She cried, breaking into a sprint after them. She floundered, broke through the crust, leapt on top of it again. He was joking with her. She understood as much. But the hectic way Kay was acting and the strangeness of it all, not to mention the way they exclaimed over two-legs, was making her frantic. What’s to fear in a twoleg anyway? A two legged wolf couldn’t even walk, so why were they running?
She whimpered. It was not part of the act. Was this some huge joke? Did they know who she was and were they now playing some game to get back at her?

| Bandit heard Tryst's question. Two legs are Humans. They hunt to kill. he continued to trot next to Tryst. He looked over at her and he could tell by her face she was confused. They had reached a large boulder some good ways away from their camp. We should stop here.He sat down and exhaled catching his breath. Tryst, Those two legs, they want to hut us down and kill us. They most likely want us for our furs. It'll be alright if we keep moving and only rest once in a while. Bandit layed down in the soft powered snow | |

| “So they aren’t wolves? Any why would you want someone’s fur? That’s stupid.” She sat down, still confused. ‘They want to hunt us down and kill us.’ His voice seemed to echo through the bitterly cold air. Kill them.
Was this some sort of joke? Her emerald eyes strained, but she saw no trace of two-legged things. She sniffed, too, but didn’t detect anything unfamiliar.
“Have you guys ever seen one of those… Things?” She asked, her voice hollow with fear. Her ears were pinned back and she couldn’t sit still, her tail twitching anxiously at the tip.

| Bandit nodded. They get some kind of gain i'm sure... likely not something wolves use. Bandit was confused at her confusion. What was so hard to understand. If you don't run away you die. I have. My mother was trapped and was to be skinned after delivering me. I was too when i reached full size. Luckily i escaped. His body involuntarily shuddered at the thought of the humans and their cold mannerisms and their evil glares. | |

| “Th-They were going to kill you?” Her eyes were wide. She stood, took two steps and sat. “Well, I’d guess she’s seen them too… I just… how could something like that exist without me knowing?” She looked into the distance again. “it’s not… Normal for me to not know things of… This magnitude.” She offered, trying to place a target and work around it. She’d never heard of them, no, but Tryst herself wasn’t exactly surprised. She didn’t do much other then play her game, and current events were not important for the game.
She stood again, walked up and down, face anxious, head low, hackles up. Her tail was decidedly down, the end curled around one hind leg. She occasionally cast a worried glance his way, then at Kay. A shiver ran from her shoulders to her hips. She set her jaw decidedly. Would they see the smoke from a fire? There was no time, anyway, if they just took a short rest.
“Should we go?” | |

| Bandit nodded solemnly. Yes. I don't dwell on it much. He glanced around. when Tryst began pacing he found him self following her with his gaze. Another thump on his cheat made it clear that he had a large and important decision up ahead. Yes. We should keep moving. just into the Forrest.((Look for the next post int he Forest thread!)) | |

| (Sorry I'm a little late to the party, but I had to help set the tree, decorate it and watch a movie last night. Hope I'm not that late! Although I see you've moved to the forest, ah well...) Stretching, the white-and-black she-wolf stood up and poked her head out of her snow hole. This was Shade, the shadow wolf as some would call her. This...calling was started when loners and packs would observe her behavior- sticking to the shadows, swiftly dashing in and out of the light, as if it'd burn her. Which, in her mind, it would. When she was a puppy, her mother had ALWAYS whispered words such as 'Light is enemy, dark is friend..' in her sleep. Now, Shade had never known WHY this was, but being a puppy, she took it as a lesson. Something any NORMAL wolf did. Yet, she grew up around wolves who didn't do that- those wolves would stay in the light, unless it was a hot day, in which case they finally would stick to the shadows. Heck, even her own sister had become a light walker, as she called them. Perhaps that was why she ended up here, in the eternally snowy forest. Forever an outcast..
Shade climbed out of her snow hole, scanning the area around her. A small stream trickled a few yards away, though it was difficult to hear as the ice covering it muffled the sound. Padding towards it, she winced when the light from the sun- though lessened because of the clouds releasing snow- hit her pelt. But she was so thirsty... Sighing, she braced herself and smacked her paw on the ice, shattering it. Then she stuck her muzzle in, shattering it a bit more. The icy water felt good, and she lapped it up greedily. Raising her muzzle, she shook her pelt and retreated back to the tree where she had slept the night before, into the shadows. She studied her surroundings, but all was quiet and still. "It was pointless to come here. If those idiots didn't like me, and how I always acted, then that was their problem. Now I'm in the middle of no where and starting to starve..." she muttered, voice shuddering. She wasn't used to the cold- sure, she was a wolf, but where she came from the cold was only for a few months and wasn't as intense as this. And, her body was not made for jumping through deep snowbanks, so she couldn't outrun the smallest of snowshoe hares- thus, she was starving, and she knew she couldn't live like this forever. However, perhaps she'd have to learn how to control her Earth powers a bit better, then she could find something to eat, by manipulating the trees and land. Yet, that seemed wrong, so wrong.. But that was the circle of life, her life, she decided. She laid down in the snow and awaited nightfall, wrapping her tail around her nose.
